The RHS Cheer Team competed in the Great Minnesota Cheer-Off on Saturday at Kasson-Mantorville High School. The Cheer-Off is an annual competition hosted by the Minnesota Cheerleading Coaches Association and is designed to showcase the skills and talents used by sideline cheer teams. This year the RHS team took home a third place finish in the game situation chant category by edging out STMA in a tie-breaker. This category is the most nerve-racking for teams as the captains are asked to pull a “game situation” out of a hat and to then call and execute the most appropriate response. The team did a great job representing the Royals! Congrats!
