Rogers High School Third Congressional District High School Art Competition Award

Rogers High School student Grace Clark is the 2nd Place Winner in the 2017 Third Congressional District High School Art Competition. Grace is a senior at Rogers High School and her acrylic painting is titled “Locked Up”.

Congressman Erik Paulsen presented awards on April 24th, 2017 at the Artistry Theatre and Art Center in Bloomington. Eleven high schools from the Third Congressional District participated and there were 110 pieces entered.

Section 4AA/5AA Art Competition Results 2017

Rogers High School students participated in the Section 4AA/ 5AA Art Competition. The awards were presented at the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley. Their works of art were on display for a week prior the event. The students had the opportunity to attend workshops and confer with the judges on Awards Day.

Judges’ Choice Awards

Each judge was given the opportunity to choose what they thought was the best work of art in the show. This is the highest award. Four Rogers artists brought home this award.

These pieces will join all of the other Judge’s Choice selections from across the state for another art show and award ceremony on May 21.
